About

I’ve always been drawn to the stories objects tell. My love for vintage started early – beginning with a black Royal typewriter that I picked up with my grandmother at a yard sale when I was five. I still have it and no, it’s not for sale. My grandmother’s deep sense of thrift and love for a treasure hunt no doubt left it’s mark on me. In high school, I spent my afternoons sifting through racks of vintage Levi jeans. It’s just snowballed from there. The old stuff has just always been better to me.

For the past ten years, I’ve worked primarily in sourcing and selling vintage, curating a mix of the wonderful, the curious and the timeworn. But collecting for me has never been just about things—it’s about transformation, reimagination, and giving discarded pieces a new voice. These pieces add so much depth and texture to a home. This richness can’t be store bought, or atleast not big store bought. This way of thinking is a big part of who I am and now feeds my work.

You can always find me digging in the boxes of bits and bobs at a flea market or an estate sale. Now I’m making space in my life to take these collected little pieces and create something new. They are usually a little mischievous, and always layered with meaning. I love examining and breaking down the old to tell a new story. At first glance my work often appears playful, but behind the smiling faces of my dolls lies a more complicated message. As women, especially Southern women, we can feel misunderstood or overly simplified. Good manners and a smile are just a common courtesy and often mask who we really are and what we really want to say. Especially around here.

Alongside my artwork, I also offer styling services, helping clients make their homes feel warm, personal, and layered. Whether it’s a simple consultation or sourcing the right pieces, I love working with what you already have. Displaying overlooked pieces hiding in your cabinet in new and interesting ways to create spaces that feel effortlessly lived in – that’s where I excel.

You can find my work and vintage collection in town at Artifacts, located at 3209 Old Buncombe Road, Greenville, SC.

For those who followed me as Grey Street Market, don’t worry—the heart of what I do hasn’t changed. It’s just evolving, like all the best things do. Right?
